Small businesses, community organizations and faith-based organizations need assistance evaluating and improving their accessibility. These organizations have unique challenges due to limited funding and time combined with a lack of control over their buildings and websites. Trade-offs between facility, web, and service accessibility is often needed.
Working with leaders in these organizations, provides an opportunity for individuals new to accessibility to learn while making a lasting impact in their community.
Accessible Community partners interns and volunteers interested in learning more about accessibility through hands-on experience with expert mentors who can guide them through the process. These teams then help improve the communities they live in.
