Accessible Community is starting a pilot program to help churches provide accessible church services. The premise: Even small churches with limited budgets can successfully include someone with a disability who wants to join their service through a combination of technology and preparation.
Right now we are talking with interested churches, exploring ASL and transcription services, testing technology, and putting together information to help a church prepare.
When we are done, we will share the results and a final process so anyone can implement it. Then we’ll extend the approach to other venues. If you are interested in learning more or if your church would like to participate, contact us.
